Private Events
Private Events can be customized to fit any celebration. Prices are determined by the project you choose and how many participants that you plan to have. Want to come use our space for an hour? Sign up for a Studio Project Class slot on our calendar with whatever messy art project you choose.
Private Art Experience - $50-75 per person (4 person min.)
Choose between our rotating Monthly Mess Technique, a Painting Challenge or one of our popular art techniques. During your event there will be a messy artist to guide you through your chosen art technique and give help or ideas. Make a mess you’ll enjoy forever on a 16×20 canvas to hang in your home/office or give as a gift. You may also choose to add on extra time for mingling or food at checkout.
We will provide each participant: paint, tools, one 16×20 inch canvas, take-home box, and apron to protect your clothes. A creative/artist will be on-site to help with paint techniques and tools.
What’s Included:
- Customized 1.5-hour art experience (About 75 minutes of Art Time and 15 Minutes for clean-up and packing art into boxes)
- All materials provided (paint, canvas, supplies, aprons, etc.)
- Flexible project options based on your group’s goals and vibe
- Guidance and support from our experienced local artists
- Optional add-ons: extra mingling time, group photo session, snacks or drinks (BYOB welcome)

Team Building- $50–$75 per person (6-person minimum)

Our Team Building experiences are designed to help your group connect, communicate, and create—all while having a great time in our inspiring studio environment.
Whether you’re a corporate team, small business, or nonprofit organization in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul area, our events are customized to align with your company’s goals. From team connection and problem-solving to celebrating a big win or simply giving your staff a break from the day-to-day, we’ll help you create an experience that feels authentic and energizing.

Fundraising Events- $15-25/participant
Are you a School, Scouts group, or another group looking for a way to fundraise money but also provide something fun to do? Mess Hall Arts has options for you! Call or email us to find out what options would work best for you and your group.
Each participant will be provided: paint, tools, canvas or canvas panel, a take-home box, and apron to protect your clothes. Depending what price range package you choose will determine the type and size of the canvas. A creative/artist will be on-site to help with paint techniques and tools.
Private Scout Badge Class- $35-50/participant
Are you a girl scout troop looking to earn a new Art Themed badge? Or a Boy scouts group looking to earn credit toward your next Badge? Mess Hall Arts has options for you! Call or email us to find out what options would work best for you and your group.
