Our Messy Monster Classes are designed especially for the littlest mess makers! Toddlers ages 2-6 will love when we say yes to mess! Each month we offer a new monthly mess that awakens the inner creativity of these little artists and gives them the freedom to get messy!

In this class we will discover the fun of marbling. Using shaving cream, food coloring, bubble blowing and more to make marbled designs on paper. Then we will cut them out into shapes to make a marbled collage.

Whether your artist loves making art, making a mess or both, our art experience will ignite creativity and imagination!

Open studio allows for all artists no matter the age to come in and get creative using the tools and materials in the studio. NO RESERVATION NEEDED!

You're welcome to stay the entire time or for just any hour, it's up to you. During Open Studio there will not be any instruction it is more about the exploration and process of art. Each artist is in charge of their own area, tools, and the cleanliness of the space. We believe that respect for all materials, tools, space and others is a must. We design our Open Studio for you to stay with your child. No child should be left unattended. Adults are FREE with a child if they do not plan to participate in Art.

The studio will have multiple areas to do art with plenty of different materials and tools for each Artist to get creative. Such as; Paint, Crayons, Markers, Watercolors, Glue, Glitter, Popscicle Sticks, Felt, Construction Paper and MORE! We will also have supplies to try a Featured Art Technique so everyone can try something new. Our featured art techniques will rotate monthly to help get imaginations flowing. We also have an eating area where artists can bring in snacks or purchase snacks and beverages from Mess Hall Arts.

Each Hour is $12 per person. You may choose to purchase a Messy Pass to save when purchasing multiple hours. Messy passes can be used for multiple people, families, or groups.

$12 per hour, $48 for 4 hours, $72 for 6 hours, $96 for 8 Hours or $100 for 10 hours

Our Messy Artist Public Classes are designed for Ages 6-12 to explore their inner artist. Each Class we offer a different monthly mess, a new art technique to learn and a new mess to make!

In this class we discover all the ways to put marbling on paper surfaces. Then we make the marbled sheets into new things, like Origami or bookmarks. Marbling originated in Japan in around the twelfth century. Some believe it was discovered by accident by someone in the Japanese imperial family who submerged sumi ink paintings in water, watched the inks float to the surface, then put a piece of paper on the floating ink, lifted it up and preserved the image.

Pointillism is the process of applying dots of color to the paper close up, that when viewed from a distance with the human eye, assemble into a whole image. Our little artists will be given multiple tools to try while making their masterpieces.

Ready for a date night without the kids? We are here for you. What better place to be that Mainstreet in Hopkins. Drop your Artist off for a theme night of Art, Mess and Fun. We will provide multiple art activities, theme projects as well as Pizza, juice and a cupcake to decorate and eat.

So drop your kids and enjoy Mainstreet Hopkins! Get a beer at one of 3 local breweries, dinner at one of the many restaurant options within walking distance, or hide in your car and take a nap (we wont tell).

This is event is for ages 12+

We turn the lights off and our black lights on. Then we take out all the Neon Paint and allow participants to create! Each person gets the choice between 1 large or 2 small canvas.

We will have tools and supplies available and the artists will teach a few technique options and help where needed so each person walks out with a masterpiece they are proud of.

Our most popular techniques are Splatter Paint, Fluid Art and Texture Painting.
